Usual morning routine, and then Javi, may mate came round with the hire car at 12ish.
We headed to the supermarket, for lunch in their eating area.
Then it was to arrive at the clinic by 3.30pm, so that i could be near the front of the line, for the doctor, arriving at 4pm.
To cut a long story short, at 6.30pm we were told that the doctor was not coming. So i have to go back on monday evening!
The good part is that because of my patience, i am now number 2 in the queue!
Will need to go through the car hire process again on monday.
Ah hell.
So we went back to my mates place and i chilled with them, getting used to my new mode of transport. Wheelchair power wherever i go now.
Had a glass of beer, the first thing i have drunk since before the accident. Needed it!
Now at home, relaxing in bed after a looooong day.
A lot of getting in and out of cars, hospitals, shopping centres, internet shops, friends houses...haha...i'm tired.
But definitely not defeated.
I'll be back on monday again for more story telling...
