Uncontactable...!

Well, tonight is saturday night, which brings this blog up to date now.

My lawyer couldn't get hold of the driver or his wife, despite knowing where they live, and they are not answering their phones. Looks like they think if they stick their heads in the sand then we will go away??

He says that now our only course of action is to draw up legal documents requiring the driver to sit down and speak to us regarding the payment of my hospital bills and after care.

This has just gone from bad to worse to worse still over the last month, and i am still no closer to finding out how i will survive here, or after i leave here!

After care requires a nurse full-time, accommodation, food and drink and medication.
It also requires a proper physio to help me to learn to walk again when the cast comes off my leg.
And then there's another 6 months of crutches until i build the muscle back up in my leg so that i can even support my own body weight!
1 year is the time period i have been given.

Oh, and the cherry on the top....

I have looked at the x-rays and the after op x-ray of my tibia/fibula break, shows that the fibula has been left alone. Only the tibia was operated on, and a pin inserted. The fibula, which is only about 17% weight bearing, but plays an important role in helping the ankle function correctly, is broken to such a degree that the bones are about 1cm apart horizontally, and about 1.5cm past each other vertically, in the x-ray!

According to the doctor this will grow together and heal itself over time!

According to the internet this will never repair itself unless the bones are aligned and touching, or very near to touching, so that they can grow together!

So, after all of this, it looks like i will have to go back into surgery at some point in the near future, not in this hospital, and get operated on again, and then another cast put on, and we're back to square one again!!

Tomorrow is sunday and no-one works here, so no more news there.

Monday the shit hits the fan when this woman appears with her legal paperwork again and starts shouting at me!
